Turn abundance into opportunity.

Inspired by the nineteen baskets remaining after Jesus fed the multitudes, we believe what we have been given can overflow for the benefit of others.

The Story

Nineteen leftover baskets.

baskets remaining

When Jesus fed five thousand, twelve baskets of fragments remained. When he fed four thousand, seven more. The miracle was not only that everyone ate. It was also in the provision that kept going after the hunger was gone.

19 Baskets takes its name from that leftover abundance. We exist to turn it into opportunity, so what remains can overflow for the benefit of others.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

Ephesians 3:20–21

Purpose

What overflow is for.

19 Baskets exists to turn abundance into opportunity. Through charitable grants, we invest in organizations, individuals and initiatives that strengthen families, build healthy communities, meet meaningful needs, and create opportunities for people to flourish.

  • Strengthen families

Work that helps households stay rooted, cared for, and able to grow.

  • Build healthy communities

Funding that enhances the quality of where we live.

  • Meet meaningful needs

    Practical help where needs linger.

  • Create opportunity

Grants that open a path for people to flourish, then help others.

How it works

Overflow has two directions.

Blessed givers share from their overflow, filling the baskets with resources that can be passed on to strengthen families, meet meaningful needs, and create opportunities for others to flourish.

  2. 2
    We hold it with care
